Pelican Bay is one of the more notable master planned communities (or
planned unit developments - PUD) in the Naples area. Pelican Bay
encompasses more 5 square miles - almost the size of a small town. The
residents of Pelican Bay have access to their own private beach on the
Gulf of Mexico. Tram service is available from numerous convenient
locations throughout the community. Besides being a private beach
community, Pelican Bay is a private golf course community with 27
challenging holes. Tennis courts are found within Pelican Bay, as well

be found within Pelican Bay. "The Phil," as locals call it, offers
Broadway Musicals, many other theatrical presentations, serves as the
home of the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra, and houses the Naples Museum
